The 2018 hurricane season is in full force and Hurricane Michael is the next storm to watch on the Gulf and East Coasts. According to the National Hurricane Center, the category 1 storm is expected to strengthen to a major, Category 3 hurricane on Tuesday. It’s projected to reach the Florida panhandle on Wednesday.

As you prepare to keep you and your family safe, remember that IAQA has developed a consumer information guide for hiring restoration contractors. After any natural disaster, consumers need to be wary of fly-by-night operators seeking to take advantage of water damage victims.
